Project Overview: As-Is Workstations, Existing Workstations, Reupholstered Seating
Customer Location: Columbia, Md
This project involved a new customer for Re-form as well as working with a local designer. This project differed from others in that the customer had existing Herman Miller AO2 which they were currently using, they had purchased an inventory of Teknion which was in storage and they wanted Re-form to locate an AS-IS inventory of approximately (82) 6×8 stations. In addition, Re-form reupholstered (93) Herman Miller Reaction task chairs that were owned by the customer. This project was installed over a 2 month period by the Re-form installation team with additional help from temporary labor.
EXISTING HERMAN MILLER AO2, AS-IS TEKNION TOS AND AS-IS HERMAN MILLER ETHOSPACE:
The project included (3) floors of product. The 5th floor consisted of (82) stations of Herman Miller Ethospace, AS-IS , located by Re-form. The 4th floor consisted of (97) stations of Herman Miller AO2, which was K/D from the old location and reinstalled by Re-form at the new location. The 3rd floor consisted of (97) stations of Teknion TOS which was purchased by the customer and stored off site. There were weekly progress meetings with all trades involved in a project of this size. Re-form’s project manager was on site daily to deal with any and all issues that needed to be resolved. All (3) floors were very similar in layout of the stations. Re-form supplied missing product for both the Herman Miller AO2 and Teknion TOS inventories. The customer was very pleased with the completed installation and has become a storage customer with Re-form. In recent news, the customer is again looking to expand and is considering Re-form to assist them with their expansion.
